Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using AstroMood (the "Service"), operated by AstroMood ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service, including through our website (getastromood.com) and mobile applications.

Description of Service

AstroMood is an astrology platform that provides the following services:

  • Natal (birth) chart generation using the Swiss Ephemeris astronomical library
  • Transit chart readings showing current planetary influences on your birth chart
  • Synastry and composite charts for relationship compatibility analysis
  • Solar return and lunar return chart calculations
  • Progressed chart calculations
  • Event and horary chart generation
  • Educational content and guides about astrology
  • Chart sharing and social features

Entertainment and Educational Purpose Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: All astrological readings, interpretations, charts, compatibility analyses, transit forecasts, and related content provided by AstroMood are for entertainment, educational, and self-reflection purposes only. AstroMood does not provide professional advice of any kind. Specifically:

  • Astrological readings are NOT a substitute for professional medical, psychological, financial, legal, or other expert advice
  • You should NEVER make important life decisions based solely on astrological readings
  • Chart interpretations are based on traditional astrological principles and do not constitute scientific predictions
  • Always consult qualified professionals for health, legal, financial, or relationship concerns
  • AstroMood makes no claims regarding the accuracy or predictive value of astrological interpretations

Birth Data Accuracy

The accuracy of your astrological charts depends on the accuracy of the birth data you provide. AstroMood uses the Swiss Ephemeris for precise astronomical calculations, but we cannot verify the accuracy of user-provided birth information. Charts generated with approximate or unknown birth times will have reduced accuracy for time-sensitive placements such as the Ascendant, Midheaven, house cusps, and precise Moon position. AstroMood is not responsible for inaccuracies resulting from incorrect birth data.

Eligibility and Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years of age to use AstroMood. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that we believe violate these age requirements.

User Accounts and Responsibilities

When you create an account with AstroMood, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your password and account credentials
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Not create more than one account per person
  • Not share your account credentials with others

User Content and Chart Sharing

You retain ownership of your personal data and chart information. By using our sharing features, you agree to the following:

  • You grant AstroMood a limited license to display shared content to intended recipients
  • Publicly shared charts (via share links) are accessible to anyone with the link
  • You are responsible for obtaining consent before entering another person's birth data for compatibility features
  • You may delete your shared content at any time through your account settings
  • We do not claim ownership of your chart data or personal information

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, servers, or databases
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm another person
  • Scrape, data mine, or use automated tools to extract content from the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use another person's birth data without their consent
  • Impersonate any person or entity

Intellectual Property

The Service, including all content, features, functionality, software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks, is owned by AstroMood and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, or publicly display any content from the Service without prior written consent. Your personal chart data and birth information remain your property.

Payments and Subscriptions

AstroMood may offer premium features through paid subscriptions or one-time purchases. If applicable:

  • Prices are displayed in your local currency and may vary by region
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the applicable app store
  • Refunds for purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play Store are handled according to the respective store's refund policy
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice to existing subscribers

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ASTROMOOD AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, RESULTING FROM: (A) YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (B) ANY DECISIONS MADE BASED ON ASTROLOGICAL READINGS OR INTERPRETATIONS; (C) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR DATA; (D) ANY THIRD-PARTY CONDUCT ON THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AstroMood, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to: your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or any content you submit to the Service.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If negotiation fails within 30 days, either party may pursue binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules. You agree to waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. Small claims court actions are exempt from this arbitration requirement.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of the courts for any matters not subject to arbitration as described above.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination: your right to use the Service will immediately cease; we will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy; and sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Dispute Resolution) shall survive.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page, updating the effective date, and where practicable, sending an email notification. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you should discontinue use of the Service.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AstroMood regarding your use of the Service, and supersede any prior agreements, communications, or understandings, whether written or oral.
